Figuring out how to achieve a beautiful and meaningful home can be overwhelming, stressful and there are a lot of important details to consider, among budget and timeline. The truth is … it is a challenge.

Every home is different, and every home should reflect the tastes, desires and be defined by the lifestyle of the people living in it. That is the key to the “art of living”.

You want to refresh your space without committing to major renovations? I will offer you inspiring solutions to transform your space in an aesthetic that you love.

You have an old home with historic features? I will respect what is there but also not be too timid about making it work for your modern lifestyle.

You are in the project of building your dream house? I will help you discover functional and beautiful layouts and design, and make sure that everything makes sense in your space.

You just moved in a new home or a rental? I will help you to craft a dream space that serves your needs and aesthetics.

You are on a tight budget and need help to bring the “art of living” in your home that feels harmonious? I offer remote services at affordable costs that will give you the tools you need to achieve your goals.

My goal is to partner with you to make your dream and vision a reality, to co-create a home that makes you feel good through clever designs. I want to offer you all I have to deliver inspired designs to make your home a space of distinction and expression. I provide my services on time, within budget and beautifully.

The first thing I usually do is ask you to fill out this questionnaire to the best of your ability. If you are agreeing to proceed with me as your designer, the next step after that will be to set up a meeting. Please, ensure this questionnaire has been returned to me at least 24 hours before our appointment. If I haven’t quoted a price for your project, I will use your answers here to provide you with a formal fee proposal.

1. Who is this project for and who will be living in the property?

Please include the name of all family members including any pets.

2. What is the property address?

3. In your own words, tell me what you would like to achieve during our time together?

4. What do you expect to receive from me in terms of service, time and communication?

I ask this question to know your expectations, as this is different for everyone, I want to ensure there is no miscommunication.

5. Is your intention to sell the property or to keep the property once the work is completed?

Please be as specific as possible and tell me the main problem and then also the main goal.

7. Describe, the current spaces you have in the home.

How do they make you feel right now? What is missing in them?

8. Search on the Internet or in magazines for images of the style of space that inspires you (don’t think about budget right now).

You do not have to disclose this information if you don’t want to, although a rough estimate helps understand if your goals are realistic and helps me see the potential areas where we can balance your budget to ensure you get everything you want!

11. Does your budget include furniture, soft furnishings and decoration?

Please give an estimate of how much you intend to spend on this element of the design? It's ok if you don’t know the answer, give your best guess.

13. If you have bought the property recently, please provide the link or email me the link to the Real Estate agents sales brochure for the property.

Please include any existing plans, photos and drawings that you have that are relevant. Please include any architectural surveys, drawings of plans you have of the property.

14. Do you prefer to use metric or imperial units?

15. Make your best guess of how you would like to position the furniture (for the main areas) you have or hope to have in the best way.

(Don’t worry about being perfect here, just do your best!) You can describe this in words, draw a sketch or post an image of something similar that you think will work.

16. What is the scope of work you are prepared for?

Are you willing to do a complete overhaul of the room/house or do you just want to repaint with a new colour and rearrange your existing furniture? Are you a DIY kind of person or will you get a builder or some kind of other help?
